Obituary of Beulah A. Rohling

Beulah Ann Rohling, 80, passed away Friday, April 24, 2015 at her home in Coffeyville, Kansas. Beulah was born December 22, 1934 to Raymond and Wilhelminnia (Lampe) Friess in St. Marks, Kansas. She grew up there and graduated from the Sacred Heart Academy in Wichita, KS. She married Frank J. Rohling October 23, 1954 in St. Marks. Her husband preceded her in death February 20, 2015. They relocated to Coffeyville, KS area in 1966, where they were involved in farming. Beulah was a project leader in the 4-H club where her children were members. She was also a member of Holy Name Church, Holy Name Altar Society and was a member of a quilting group. In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by her brother, Lloyd Friess, infant twin sons, David and Daniel and an infant daughter, Pamela. She is survived by her children, Cathy McCord of South Coffeyville, OK, Suzette Perry and her husband, Jim of Clearwater, KS, Diane Rohling and her companion Ken Olszewski of Ridgecrest, CA, Fred Rohling and his wife Deanna of Thayer, KS, Jim Rohling and wife Ronda of Mound Valley, KS, Bonita Rohling and fiancé Joe Hudson of O'Fallon, MO, sixteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters, Marlene Larkin and husband Bill of Winfield, KS and Coletta Thimmesch and husband Marc of Goddard, KS and brother-in-law Walt Rohling and his wife, Pat of Derby, KS. A Rosary Vigil will be held at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at Holy Name Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 29, 2015 with Father Chad Arnold officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call on Tuesday, April 28 from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home. The family suggests memorials to the Holy Name Catholic Church and may be left at the funeral home or mailed c/o David W. Barnes Funeral Home, 306 N. Cline Road, Coffeyville, KS 67337..
