Melvin was our friend and neighbor. He came driving up with sixteen tomato cages one day, so that's how many we plant. He lives on, because his stories were told on the drive way; and here at the kitchen table. He took time for people, and lived a true life.

To the family of Melvin: I am so sorry for your loss. Having gone to school with Melvin for many years I have so many fond memories of him. Uncle Melvin was one of the best men I had the privilege Of knowing. I loved seeing him at the ranch, because he was so nice and good to me. He was funny and loved watching his family grow. I don't remember alot from when I was younger, but I do remember him teaching me things about the cattle, and what some of the things he did as a rancher. I'll always remember him as a hard working and good man ♡
