Mrs. Erickson was my piano teacher from age 5 to high school. She taught both me and my older sister and gave a tremendous amount of love and love for music to me and my family. I continue playing when I can and attribute so much of my wholehearted love for piano and music to her.

It was terrible shock to read of Mary Lou's death via an accident. She and Bob became good friends of my wife and me. When she started playing the organ for St. Paul's Episcopal church. She was a wonderful, loving person. I hope that Emma was waiting for her in heaven. Harry

Music and Mary Lou Erickson are synonymous in Coffeyville. We only spoke to Mary Lou in late August about the auditions for the Coffeyville Community Children's Choir. At age 86, her eyes lit up when talked about the upcoming choir season. She loved it . . . just as people loved the music she provided for the better part of six decades to her hometown. She will be missed.

Dana, I am sorry for your loss. I did not know your sister well, but I knew your mother when I lived in Coffeyville. She was a very talented and caring lady. She always put in 110% effort into everything she did. May the memories of your mother and your sister always be a blessing to all who knew them.

Dear Dana, Jennifer and Maggie,
My heart goes out to all of you and your families. Anne and Mary Lou were very important in my life. I am so happy I got to visit with ML Tuesday night. She and I talked and talked just like old times. Anne was part of our family. I will miss them both. May God bless you and keep you and make His face to shine upon you!
Love, Pixie

Dana, Jennifer, & family:
I am a classmate of Anne's, graduating with her from FKHS in 1975 and was so sorry to hear of her passing.
I have known and loved your Mother since I was a small girl as she taught me to love the piano. I will never forget her patience and her striving to help me love music as much as she did.
I pray for you during this most difficult time having just lost your sister and hoping you find comfort in knowing both of them touched many lives and I am certain they are reunited in Heaven.
God Bless all of you.

Words can not express my sincere sympathy at this time for your family. Dana, Jennifer, Maggie and everyone my heart goes out to all of you right now. My thoughts and prayers are with each one of you.
I first met Mary Lou back when Jennifer was a little girl. Mary Lou was my piano instructor, I can still visualize Jennifer sitting playing while I was supposed to be doing my lessons on the piano.
Then as the years progressed she was involved with my children through music at school and then onto the next generation, my grandchildren.
Mary Lou was such a talented women, always seemed so full of life even after playing the piano for the children at their performances.
