Obituary of Karen Sue Rogers

Karen Sue Rogers, 75, of Neodesha, KS formerly of Coffeyville, passed away Sunday, October 25, 2015, at Wilson Medical Center in Neodesha.
She was born November 10, 1939, at Wann, OK to John Charles and Opal L. (Rowland) Scott. Karen grew up and attended school in the Tyro and Coffeyville area graduating from Field Kindley High School.
She married Jerry Irvin Rogers, they had four sons. He preceded her in death in December 1966.
Survivors include four sons, Jerry D. Rogers of Miami, OK, Johnny L. Rogers of Cameron, MO, Harry J. "Jimmy" Rogers of Miami, OK, and Terry I. Rogers of Miami, OK; one brother, Joe D. Scott of South Coffeyville, OK, and Doris L. Frey of South Coffeyville, OK; one niece, Shelly D. Scott of Tuttle, OK; and one nephew Charley J. Scott of Denver, CO; four granddaughters, and two grandsons.
She was preceded in death by her husband, and her parents.
Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 30, 2015 at the Robbins Cemetery west of Coffeyville.
Friends may call on Thursday from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville.
