I was so saddened to hear of Sarah's passing. I am so glad that I got to see Fred and Sarah on a recent visit to Coffeyville in Nov. as I had not seen them in about 30 years as I moved to CA. You were both very close friends to Tara and me when we lived in Coffeyville.Sarah was such a warm and friendly person, with the biggest warm smile and giggle. Fred & Sarah have welcomed our daughter, Spoorthi, into their family with open arms & an open heart. For that, we are forever grateful. Just like they received a daughter, we received a wonderful son, Ric. We are so deeply saddened that our lovely Sarah is no longer with us, but we know she is in Heaven and at peace. We will miss her warmth and presence, and as many people know, she sure had a presence in any room. Mrs. Brown was my 2nd grade teacher at Dearing Elementary in the early 1970's. We were all crazy about her and she was a favorite to all who had the honor of being taught by her. To Sarah's family- I'm am so sorry for your loss. Sarah was very special to me. I had OJT in high school and chose to do it in her classroom.
