Obituary of Verlena Louise Harris

Verlena Louise "Pie" Harris, 57, of Coffeyville passed away Thursday, December 17, 2015, at Coffeyville Regional Medical Center.
She was born August 1, 1958, at Coffeyville to Verdee and Claretha (Raymon) Marshall, Sr. Verlena grew up and attended school in Coffeyville, graduating from Field Kindley High School and Coffeyville Community College.
On June 8, 1985, she married Tonnie Harris at Coffeyville. Following their marriage they made their home in Coffeyville where they raised their family.
She was a member of Union Baptist Church in Coffeyville.
Survivors include her husband, Tonnie of the home; one son, Andre' Bean Nuckols of Oklahoma; three daughters, LaShala Chapman, Nneka Harris, and Tonisha Harris all of Coffeyville; her mother, Claretha Wooten of Coffeyville; seven brothers, William Jenkins, Donald Jenkins, Victor Marshall, John Marshall, Verdee Marshall, Jr., Russell Marshall, and Dominick Marshall; two sisters, Denise Marshall, and Kimberly Crow; and six grandchildren.
Verlena was preceded in death by her father, one brother, and one grandson.
Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 24, 2015 at the Union Baptist Church with Pastor Gary Lane officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
Friends may call on Wednesday, December 23, 2015 from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville.
