So sorry to hear of Mrs. Walters passing. She too was my 3rd grade teacher along with Joe Pyle at West Coffeyville School. Not only did she have to teach 3rd grade but also 4th. The two classes were together, as were the other classes at West Coffeyville. I too remember her red hair. She was a very good teacher. We always spoke when we ran into each other all these years. To the family cherish your memories with her. Thoughts and prayers to the family.

Mrs. Walters , was my third grade teacher at West Coffeyville grade school " 1963-64 " in that little cinder block building . I can't help , but remember how nice and attentive she was , to us" little people" .
She always dressed so nice and proper , and if I remember correctly , she had pretty red flowing hair . I hope I can find our 3rd grade class picture .
I'm sorry now , that I failed to locate and communicate with her about the good ole days at West Coffeyville .
