Obituary of Martin L. Kudrick

Martin Lee Kudrick, 51, of Mound Valley, Kansas passed away on Monday, January 11, 2016 at Freeman Hospital in Joplin, Missouri.
Martin was born on August 30, 1964 in Coffeyville, Kansas to George and Virginia (Montgomery) Kudrick, Jr. He graduated high school and continued his education at the VoTech School in Salina, Kansas where he achieved his Diesel Mechanic Degree.
Martin worked for Coffeyville Resources at the time he passed away, he had worked there for more than 23 years. On February 16, 2008 he married Debbie Cloke at the Brown Mansion in Coffeyville, Kansas. The couple made their home in Mound Valley.
Martin was a member or the Mound Valley United Methodist Church, he was currently attending church at the Western Way Cowboy Church in rural Bartlett, Kansas. He served as the President of the Union at the Refinery. Martin enjoyed wood working, horses and tending to their cattle, but most of all he loved the time he spent with his family and friends.
Surviving to honor his memory is his loving wife, Debbie of the home; his mother, Virginia Kudrick of Shawnee Mission, Kansas; step children, Erin (Phillip) Hibbs, Austin Matile, Jamie (Bryson) Shaffer, C.J. (Jane) Beeson, Carlita (Aaron) Bradshaw; step grandchildren, Rhett Hibbs, Gentry Shaffer, Nichole Barrett, Nathan Barrett, Cayden Bradshaw and one on the way; sisters, Pam (John) Pryor of Wichita, Kansas, Deanna (Mark) Weisbach of Lexington, Missouri, Lisa Kudrick of Merriam, Kansas; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, friends and co-workers. He was preceded in death by his father, George Martin Kudrick, Jr.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, January 15, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at the Western Way Cowboy Church in rural Bartlett, Kansas. Pastor Lester Green will officiate. Burial will follow at the Mound Valley City Cemetery.
Friends may call on Thursday, January 14, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville, Kansas to sign the guest register. A family visitation will be held Thursday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Mound Valley United Methodist Church.
The family suggests memorial contributions can be made to the Labette County High School FFA or the Western Way Cowboy Church these contributions may be left with the funeral home or mailed c/o David W. Barnes Funeral Home, 306 North Cline Road, Coffeyville, KS 67337.
