Lester “Doug” Douglas Luker, Jr. of Coffeyville passed away on Thursday, January 14, 2016 at Coffeyville Regional Medical Center.
Doug was born on November 20, 1966 in Coffeyville, Kansas to Lester and Sondra (Wells) Luker, Sr. He grew up in Coffeyville where he graduated from Field Kindley High School and achieved his electrician’s licenses through the Vo Tech. He enjoyed camping, fishing and the outdoors. Most of all he loved the time he spent with family and friends.
Surviving to honor his memory are his sons; Jarrett Luker of Coffeyville, Kansas, Matthew (Abbie) Luker of Fredonia, Kansas; father, Lester Luker, Sr. of Fredonia, Kansas; mother, Sondra Luker of Fredonia, Kansas; sister, Melissa (Clayton) Hibbard of Fredonia, Kansas; two nieces, one nephew, and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville. There are no services set at this time.
The family suggests memorial contributions can be made to the charity of the donor’s choice, the contributions may be left with the funeral home or mailed c/o David W. Barnes Funeral Home, 306 North Cline Road, Coffeyville, KS 67337.
