Obituary of Jeanette K. Twitchell

Jeanette K. Twitchell, 76, of Coffeyville passed away Saturday, February 20, 2016 at The Journey Home Hospice Home in Bartlesville, OK. She was born April 18, 1939, at Caney, KS to Wallace and Ethel (Roberts) Caffey. When she was young her family moved to Coffeyville where Jeanette grew up and attended school graduating from Field Kindley High School. On June 2, 1956, she married Virgil Twitchell in Coffeyville. Following their marriage they made their home in Coffeyville where they raised their children. Her husband preceded her in death. Jeanette worked for K & S Oil for several years. She loved spending time with her family and enjoyed reading. Survivors include two sons, Allen Twitchell and John Twitchell both of Coffeyville; one daughter, Debbie Bigham of Bartlesville, OK; six grandchildren, Michelle, Shannon, Crystal, Katie, Lucas, and Benton; and nine great-grandchildren, Savannah, Kenzie, Austin, Peighton, Kaylee, Bryson, Brooke, Kennedy, and Rylan. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband. Following Jeanette's wishes cremation has taken place and no service is planned at this time. The family would like to say thank you and express their appreciation to the staff of The Journey Home for the comfort and care they provided to Jeanette.
