Obituary of Kathryn Lillie Hulsey

Kathryn L. "Kay" Hulsey, 90, of Coffeyville passed away Sunday, April 3, 2016 at Windsor Place. She was born on December 10, 1925 at Chetopa, KS to Michael McCoy and Alpha Ann (Hurst) Linthicum. She grew up at attended school in Chetopa graduating from Chetopa High School in 1943. On April 16, 1943, she married Edwin Hulsey at Labette City, KS. Following their marriage they made their home in Chetopa until moving to Coffeyville in 1950 when her husband started working for Bunny Bread bakery. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Coffeyville. Kay loved spending time with her family. Survivors include her husband, Edwin of the home; her daughter, Edwina "Winnie" Allison and husband Larry of Cherryvale; grandson, James Michael Wilkinson and companion Kristina Fletcher Johnson of Wichita; step-grandson, Larry Allison II and wife Tracy of Coffeyville; step-granddaughter, Jenny Hoggatt and husband Dale of South Coffeyville, OK; and numerous great-grandchildren. Following Kathryn's wishes cremation has taken place and no service is planned at this time.
