Obituary of Rosalie Mae Holder

Rosalie Mae (Yeubanks) Holder, 85, of Coffeyville passed away Tuesday, April 12, 2016, at Windsor Place. She was born on May 9, 1930, at Coffeyville to Ed and Juanita (Menefee) Yeubanks. Rosalie grew up and attended school in Coffeyville, graduating from Field Kindley High School. She married Kenneth Hepner. Together they had three children, Jane, Diana, and Richard. They were divorced in 1967. In August 1976, she married Dallas Holder. He preceded her in death in 1981. Rosalie was employed as a secretary at Gibson's Discount Store for several years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Coffeyville Regional Medical Center Auxiliary, and was a volunteer at the American Red Cross. Rosalie enjoyed playing cards and loved spending time with her family. Survivors include two daughters, Jane Wintjen of Independence, KS and Diana Leland of Tahlequah, OK; one son, Richard Hepner of Coffeyville; six grandchildren, and sixteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and three sisters, Doris Greenlee, Jeanette Segraves, and Coleen Nichols. Services will be at 2:00 p.m., Friday, April 15, 2016, at the First Baptist Church in Coffeyville with Dr. J. Dean McNamara officiating. Burial will follow in Restlawn Memorial Park. Friends may call on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the David W. Barnes Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
