Obituary of Anna M. VanDyne

Anna M. VanDyne, 82, of Edna, Kansas passed away on Thursday, April 14, 2016 at Elm Haven West in Parsons, Kansas. Anna was born on March 25, 1934 in Sedan, Kansas to Clarence ad Letha (Davis) Manley. She grew up in Sedan where she attended high school. In 1952 she was united in marriage to Lewis A. VanDyne, Jr. in Huntsville, Arkansas. Of this union three children were born. The couple later divorced. Anna spent her time taking care of her family and working at Western Publishing for many years. She enjoyed collecting Elvis Presley and Roy Rogers memorabilia. Most of all she loved the time she spent with her family and friends. Surviving to honor her memory are her children, Judy Buchholz and husband Larry of Tyro, Kansas, Donald D. VanDyne and wife Lori of Edna, Kansas, Penny Wulf of Oswego, Kansas; brothers, Benny Manley of Afton, Oklahoma, Jim Manley of Edna, Kansas; two grandchildren and four step great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister and one brother. Graveside Services will be held on Monday, April 18, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Elm Grove Cemetery, north of Edna, Kansas. Chaplain Wayne Mason will officiate. Friends may call on Sunday, April 17, 2016 at David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville, Kansas to sign the guest register from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. The family suggests memorials to American Cancer Society or the Alzheimer's Association; contributions may be left with the funeral home or mailed c/o David W.
