"Unc", I will miss you more than words can say. You were one of my "favorites" since childhood. I have so many good memories of you in my heart. As a child, I was crushed when you moved to Kansas, but as I grew up we kept in touch over the phone and were there for each other through many of life's ups and downs. I still have and cherish the "memory" emails you painstakingly typed one-handed to me back in 2009. They were stories of everything from you and my dad motorcycle racing to grandma's garden and her canning and your time in Viet Nam. I wish I had recorded all of the stories you shared over the phone too. But most of all, I will miss my "Happy Birthday" call every year. I always looked forward to that and if I was not home, you left a recording and thank goodness I still have one recorded. Godspeed and may your soul rest in the peace of Christ now "Unc". Your pain and suffering are over. Until we meet again....Julie Ann
