Today and forever Larry will be with me in my heart and in the wonderful memories we shared growing up. I know the bond between my brother and I has always remained between us over the years even though we were miles apart as many of those memories were revisited when we were together at the hospital. My thoughts and prayers are with my neices, family and friends today as they honor Larry and his life. Although I know he will be missed his spirit will live on.

"Unc", I will miss you more than words can say. You were one of my "favorites" since childhood. I have so many good memories of you in my heart. As a child, I was crushed when you moved to Kansas, but as I grew up we kept in touch over the phone and were there for each other through many of life's ups and downs. I still have and cherish the "memory" emails you painstakingly typed one-handed to me back in 2009. They were stories of everything from you and my dad motorcycle racing to grandma's garden and her canning and your time in Viet Nam. I wish I had recorded all of the stories you shared over the phone too. But most of all, I will miss my "Happy Birthday" call every year. I always looked forward to that and if I was not home, you left a recording and thank goodness I still have one recorded. Godspeed and may your soul rest in the peace of Christ now "Unc". Your pain and suffering are over. Until we meet again....Julie Ann

I was 12 years old the day Larry was born
.Grandma McCoy brought him out oh the front bedroom and told me to give him his first bath. He was the first newborn I had ever seen. Aunt Ruth said his name was Larry but she hadn't chose a middle name. I told her I thought Larry Ray sounded good. So he has never been Larry to me. He's my little cousin Larry Ray and he will be missed. You are all in my prayers 9
