Obituary of Ricky Lee Bradshaw

Ricky "Rick" Lee Bradshaw, 56, of Coffeyville, Kansas passed away on Tuesday, May 3, 2016. Rick was born on April 10, 1960 in Coffeyville, Kansas to James "Jim" and Patty "Pat" (Pogue) Bradshaw, Sr. He grew up in Coffeyville where he attended Field Kindley Memorial High School. In 1985 he was united in marriage to Karen Bellamy in Miami, Oklahoma. The couple made their home in Coffeyville. Of this union three children were born. The couple later divorced. Rick worked in construction and he was a carpenter. He was great at building and repairing homes and other projects. He enjoyed family barbecues and get-togethers, listening to Elvis Presley and he was always cheering for his favorite football team, the Dallas Cowboys. Most of all he enjoyed the time he spent with his family and grandchildren. Surviving to honor his memory are his mother, Pat Bradshaw; daughter, Beth Hawes and husband, Chris; son, Jason Bradshaw; brothers, Jim Bradshaw Jr. and wife, Linda, Tim Bradshaw; sisters, Kim Armstrong, Melissa Mattick and husband, Richard, Lacey Hix and husband, Brandon; grandchildren, Lucas, Kori and Conner Hawes all of Coffeyville, Kansas. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Jim and an infant daughter, Jenna Lee Bradshaw. Cremation has taken place under the direction of David W. Barnes funeral home in Coffeyville. Memorial Services will be held by the family at the First Assembly of God Church in Coffeyville on Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Randy DePriest will officiate.
