Obituary of Beverly Jean Moreno

Beverly Jean Moreno, 73, formerly of Coffeyville, Kansas passed away on Monday, May 16, 2016 at Kindred Hospital in Los Angeles, California. Beverly was born on September 16, 1942 in Lenexa, Kansas to Marvin and Opal (Lephford) Nalley. She grew up in the Kansas City area where she attended school. In 1957 she married Kenneth Loveless, of that union two children were born. The couple later divorced. In 1960 she married Donald Ray Bruce, of that union four children were born. Te couple later divorced. On October 31, 1977 she married the love of her life, Aurelio C. Moreno in Oklahoma. The couple made their home in Kansas. The couple moved to Inglewood, California about a year ago. Beverly was a manager for a mobile home park for fifteen years. She spent most of her free time, raising her children and taking care of her family. She enjoyed the time she spent surrounded by family and friends. Surviving to honor her memory are her loving husband, Aurelio of the home; children, Lois Ortiz of Anderson, Missouri, Michael Loveless of Coffeyville, Kansas, Kathy King and husband, Vick of Coffeyville, Kansas, Anthony Bruce and wife, Loretta of Coffeyville, Kansas, Donald Bruce of Kansas City, Missouri, Brian Moreno and wife, Maricela of Independence, Missouri; brothers, Skeet and Roy Nalley; sisters, Sarah Zyeyer, Donna Plumber, Betty Montoya; twelve grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Marvin and Opal; brothers, Melvin, Jimmy, Clarence, Marvin and Neal Nalley and by her sister, Carolyn Tosh. Graveside Services will be at 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 20, 2016 at Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Coffeyville, Kansas. The family will greet friends on Thursday, May 19, 2016 at David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville, Kansas from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
