Our hearts are with our family in Kansas at this time as you celebrate the life and lay to rest your beloved husband, father and grandfather. He was such a wonderful example of God's love as he shared his life so freely with the community in so many ways and as he mentored the lives of countless children along the way. You will be missed here on earth, Uncle Ray, but you will always be with us in spirit!
Much love and peace goes out to my Aunt Jolene and all of my cousins! We are so sorry that we are not able to be there in person but know that you are in our constant thoughts and prayers.

Thoughts and prayers are with the whole Flaharty family. The news of this has been very hard on our family. I always looked forward to spending time and our conversations sitting on the front porch of the Flaharty cabin at the UXU ranch, or any other get together planned, or unplanned with Ray !! One of our fondest memories (of which there are many) while we owned Blackwater Creek Ranch was our friendship, and time spent with the Flaharty family!!! We have spent the last couple of days reliving stories of our time as neighbors. Ray was truly special and unique as is the whole Flaharty family!!! Nothing but the best to all of you, and God bless Ray.

Grant, I know it can be hard to remember something what we as believers all know to be true in these times. I have had to lean on the inspired words of Paul more than once and so I share them with you……………
“Brethren I would not have you to be ignorant concerning those who have fallen asleep, that you sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with Him. For this I say to you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God, and the dead in Christ shall rise first, then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air, and so shall we ever be with Him.”
