Peggy L. DeRaad, 80, of Coffeyville passed away Tuesday, July 19, 2016, at Windsor Place.
She was born on September 18, 1935, at Avant, OK to Wilkie O. and Mary E. (Ragg) Trask. Peggy grew up and attended school at Nowata, OK and Coffeyville, graduating from Field Kindley High School.
On November 11, 1959, she married Dean E. DeRaad. Following their marriage they made their home in the Coffeyville area.
Peggy attended the Baptist Church. She was a homemaker and enjoyed Country and Gospel Music, watching game shows and sports.
Survivors include her husband, Dean of the home; one son, Lonnie DeRaad and wife Bonnie of Coffeyville, one granddaughter, Amanda Long and husband Rickie and two great-grandchildren, Bryce Long and Emily Long all of Coffeyville.
Graveside services will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 22, 2016, at Robbins Cemetery west of Coffeyville with Chaplain Mike Graham officiating.
Friends may call on Thursday, July 21st from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville.
