Obituary of Treva C Yeubanks

Treva C. Yeubanks, 70, of Coffeyville, Kansas passed away on Saturday, December 17, 2016 at St. Johns Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Treva was born on April 28, 1946 in Wann, Oklahoma to Paul "Jake" and Fern Marie (Floyd) Benson. She grew up in Wann where she attended local schools and graduated from Wann High School. On August 11, 1964 she was united in marriage to Ronald "Ron" Lee Yeubanks in Wichita, Kansas. She worked at Payless shoe store and at Walmart as a manager in the shoe department. She was of the Pentecostal faith. She enjoyed baking pies for the church and quilting. Surviving to honor her memory is her loving husband, Ron of the home; son, Kevin Yeubanks and wife, Marla; daughter, Karen Chew all of Coffeyville, Kansas; grandchildren, Tiffney Wallace, Titus Yeubanks, Timothy Chew and wife Heather, Michael Chew and wife Skyeler, Jacob Chew and wife Tia; fourteen great grandchildren; brothers, Ivan, Benny, Clifford, Robert and Larry Benson; along with many close family members whom Treva treated as her own children and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Paul, Lonnie and Tony Benson; sister, Doris Yeubanks; grandson-in-law, Justin Wallace along with a few other close family members who had a special place in her heart. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, December 23, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Emmanuel Chapel in South Coffeyville, Oklahoma. Pastor James Feltner will officiate. Burial will follow at Robbins Cemetery west of Coffeyville. Friends may call on Thursday, December 22, 2016 at David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville between the hours of 1:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. to sign the guest register.
