Obituary of Crystal Renee Billington

Crystal Renee (Brooks) Billington, 44, of Coffeyville passed away Sunday, February 26, 2017, at Coffeyville Regional Medical Center. She was born on November 19, 1972, at Coffeyville to Joseph "Joe" and Carolyn (Sprague) Brooks. Crystal grew up and attended school in Coffeyville graduating from Field Kindley High School. Crystal was a member of River of Life Tabernacle, she loved listening to music especially Jason Crabb and the Crabb Family, and joining in the music at her church. She signed lyrics for music to those that couldn't hear. She was a devoted mother and prior to her disabling health issues she enjoyed cooking, and caring for her children. Crystal loved being with her family. Survivors include three sons, Tim Billington of Sapulpa, OK, Garrett Billington and Matt Billington both of Tulsa, OK; one daughter, Felicity Billington of Sapulpa, OK; her parents, Joe and Carolyn Brooks of Coffeyville; one brother, Joey Brooks and wife Amy of rural South Coffeyville, OK; her grandmother, Dorothy Sprague of Coffeyville; and nieces Kelsea Watkins and husband Jarin of Tulsa, OK, MacKensie Brooks and Paige Brooks both of rural South Coffeyville, OK. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Franklin Sprague; and Bill and Maxine Brooks. Services celebrating Crystal's life will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 3, 2017, at the River of Life Tabernacle west of Coffeyville with Pastor Joe Brooks and Pastor Rocky Sprague officiating. Burial will follow in the Robbins Cemetery west of Coffeyville. Friends may call on Thursday, March 2, 2017, from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials to the Salvation Army; contributions may be left with the funeral home or mailed c/o David W.
