Obituary of Patti Ann DeTar

Patti Ann DeTar, 56, of Coffeyville passed away Monday, May 1, 2017, at her home. She was born on November 4, 1960, in Coffeyville to Gerald and Beulah (McClure) Wisely. Patti grew up and attended school in Coffeyville graduating from Field Kindley High School in 1978, and received her Associate Degree from Coffeyville Community College. Patti worked with her parents at Wisely Garden Center for several years and then at Standard Motor Products in Independence until becoming ill in March of this year. She loved to garden and spend time with her family. Survivors include one daughter, Krista Hanna and husband J.D. of Coffeyville; one son, Davin DeTar of Coffeyville; three grandchildren, Lucas Hanna, Katelynne Hanna and Cadence Hanna all of Coffeyville; her parents Gerald and Beulah Wisley of Coffeyville; one brother, David Matin of Coffeyville; and two sisters, Linda Wisely of Olathe, and Kathy Moore of Cherryvale. A Memorial Service celebrating Patti's life will be at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, May 13, 2017, at Amazing Grace Ministries, 501 E. 9th St. in Coffeyville with Pastor Donna McClure officiating. Following Patti's wishes cremation has taken place.
