Sedan - William "Bill" Wallace, age 67, of Sedan, Kansas passed away, Tuesday, July 3, 2007 in Sedan, Kansas. He was born November 23, 1939 in Sedan, Kansas to Inez (Wallace) McAfee. He was born and raised in Sedan, attending school at the Sedan High School. He lived in Sedan all his life. He worked as an oil field laborer for Parrett Pipe Line. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. He is survived by one brother, Don Wallace and his wife Kay of Caney, Kansas; one aunt, Blossom Fine, of Sedan, Kansas and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Inez and one brother, Dennis. Friends may call from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Friday, July 6, 2007 at the David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Sedan, Kansas. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July 7, 2007 at the Greenwood Cemetery with Reverend Dan Carr of the First United Methodist Church of Havana officiating. The family has suggested memorial contributions to the Sedan Education Foundation or Donor's Choice and these remembrances may be left with the funeral home.
