Jennie was a jewel ! My folks knew her for years and shopped at the Foodtown where she worked. On my birthday Jennie always had something for me. A candy bar, toy or something. I still have a Little Golden Book she gave me in 1964. I know my folks are happy to see her in heaven. : )

Heaven gained a blessed, Godly woman when Sister Jennie came home. Remember her and the family from growing up during campmeetings and church at Rock Creek.Church of God. God bless you all.

The first time I met her I thought she was married to Floyd the way she was bossing him around. Think I asked how long they had been married. She just laughed and said. "That is my brother." She was a wonderful lady .

Church and Sunday dinner at Grandma Bowman's are some of my best memories growing up. I was such a lucky little girl to be included and loved by them. It wouldn't have been the same without Aunt Jennie and her hugs. I can still hear her loving calm tone as she soothed hurts and gave hugs at every opportunity. She has earned her mansion on a hilltop and I know there is a huge celebration going on up there as we mourn down here. I love you Aunt Jennie! All my love to the family.
