Obituary of Charlotte Rose Mendoza

Charlotte Rose Mendoza, 64, of Coffeyville, Kansas passed away on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at Cornerstone Hospital in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Charlotte was born on January 8, 1953 in Wichita, Kansas to James and Susanna (Plotner) Weber. She attended school in Wichita and in Cherryvale. On February 22, 2006 she was united in marriage to Antonio Mendoza in Miami, Oklahoma. The couple made Coffeyville their home. She worked for Dana Corp. in Independence where she retired after 28 years of service. She loved cooking and baking, doing word search puzzles and being active, she could never stay still. Surviving to honor her memory are her husband, Antonio of the home; foster sons, Dustin Ellis, Levi Ellis and Clayton Ellis; step-children, Brian Edwards, Anna Mendoza and Anthony Mendoza; sisters, Susan Gayer and Elizabeth French both of Missouri. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Susanna Weber and by her sister, Judy. Following her wishes, cremation has taken place. Memorial Service celebrating Charlotte's life will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at the David W. Barnes Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Wilson of the First Church of God officiating.
