I hated missing the service today. Uncle Burl'es smile is forever embedded in my memory, along with, those tight squeezing hugs. I never doubted that he loved me and my family. He always had lots of questions to ask about how life was going and kept close tabs on us through my grandparents (Kenneth and Edna). He is greatly missed. Much love and prayers for the entire family, especially Aunt Mary.

All the facts of this account are not fully known, however. my sister Shirley and I spent the night with Uncle Burle and Aunt Mary on their first night together following their wedding; from that point on a great admiration began for our Uncle.

So sorry to hear about Burle. Growing up he was my favorite neighbour, always had a smile and a wave when he saw me. He walked home for lunch and we would usually meet about the same time as I came home for lunch from school every day. I sure will miss him. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family.
