Obituary of Robert R. Perry

Robert R. "Bob" Perry, 73, of Coffeyville passed away Tuesday, January 23, 2018, at Medicalodge of Coffeyville. He was born on June 30, 1944, at Claremore, OK to Alvin and Evelyn (Everette) Perry. Bob grew up in the Liberty, KS area where he attended grade school, and completed his education at Labette County High School in Altamont. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and Kansas Army National Guard. On July 8, 1983 he married Mary Sharpe at Bartlesville, OK. Following their marriage they made their home in the Coffeyville, Caney, Dearing and Tyro area. Bob was a truck driver for many years and enjoyed spending time with his family when he wasn't on the road. Survivors include his wife, Mary of the home; his children, Debra Hundley, Ronald R. Perry, Lesa Mills, Danny Miller, Robert R. Perry II, La Tonya Toland, and Jamie D. Perry; one sister, Patricia Hamil and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, Rhonda Benfer, one son, Richard A. Perry, and two brothers, Charles Perry, and Richard Lee Perry. A Memorial Service celebrating Bob's life will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 29. 2018 at the First Church of God, 2010 West 5th St., Coffeyville, KS with Pastor Mark Wilson officiating. Following Bob's wishes cremation has taken place.
