Obituary of Veda Louise Shobe
Veda Louise Shobe, 59, of Coffeyville passed away Wednesday, February 21, 2018 at her home.
She was born on August 29, 1958 at Enid, OK to David and Willie (Herde) Hale. Veda attended grade school in several different location while her Dad worked for the railroad, they later moved to Kansas City where she completed her education graduating from Turner High School.
She married Ron Fales, they have two children and were later divorced.
She met George "Butch" Shobe on January 8, 1993 in Kansas City, they moved to Coffeyville in August 1993, and were married January 8, 1995 at Miami, OK. After moving to Coffeyville Veda was a driver for Senior Citizens Transportation, worked in the Produce department at Country Mart for eight years and was a Sales Representative for Good News.
Survivors include her husband, George "Butch" Shobe of the home; one daughter, Stacey Renee Cook and husband, Steve of Coffeyville; two sons, Jason Keith Fales and wife, Suzy of Gardner, KS,and Justin Ryan Shobe and wife, Nicole of Merriam, KS; her parents, David and Willie Hale of Grove, OK; two brother, Clyde Cecil Hale and wife Jody of Pompano Beach, FL, and Anthony Lee Hale and wife, Pam of Millbrook, AL; and seven grandchildren.
Following Veda's wishes cremation has taken place and no service is planned at this time. A Celebration of her life will take place at a later date.
