Kenneth was a great guy. I remember him from our high school days. He was always polite and respectful. I also remember his father Carlton who was a strong supporter of 4-H in Montgomery County.

As a fellow member of the FKHS Class of 1950, it was good to read about Ken's life. He was always held in high regard among his classmates. I was glad to visit with him when he returned to live in Coffeyville. May the memories of his family and friends sustain them in their grief.

Condolences to Bev, Paul, Laura, Emily & families. Remembering the fun times seeing Ken while visiting Coffeyville when we were young & talks of our family tree starting with his mom, Chrysa, and his uncle Glenn. It was great visiting with Ken and Bev at our house in MInnesota years ago. Also glad we got to spend so many recent holidays with Ken in Kansas City as he kept us up to date on his kids lives. Thinking of all of you, especially today, and hope to see you this summer.

So sorry for the loss of Ken. I will miss his presence at holidays at my mom’s house. He was always genuinely insterested in my life as well as Corey’s and the kids. I always enjoyed listening to his experiences and catching up on my cousin’s lives:) Of course no holiday was complete without his disposable camera and his pictures of the entire group at my mom’s dinner table (he used to mail them to Corey and me). He was a wonderful man with great values who will be missed. Thinking of you all today and tomorrow and of course wish we could be there. Hope to see you all for the burial at a later date.
Love to you all, Julie

I will miss my cousin, Kenneth. He and I were the link to the Kevan side of the family. We've had so many good family times in Kansas City over the years. Our last Kansas City outing for just the two of us was to the W.W. 1 museum last summer. Also I will miss his presence at holidays. He was always kind, always interested in what other family members were doing --and a true gentleman. My condolences to Bev and his children and grandchildren.

FROM THE STAFF AT THE COFFEYVILLE PUBLIC LIBRARY:
To the family: We are deeply saddened by the passing of Ken. He was in the Library every morning like clock work, even on the coldest days, getting his Coffee, Reading his Newspapers, and just being Ken. We will miss the conversations, the smile and everything that made Ken who he was to the Staff. Our hearts are with you.
The Coffeyville Public Library Staff.
