Obituary of Frances A. Vail
Frances A. Vail, 82, of South Coffeyville, OK passed away Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at Coffeyville Regional Medical Center.
She was born on December 24, 1935 at Gorman, TX to Henry and Vida (Smith) Murray. When Frances was young they moved to the Fort Worth, TX area where she grew up and attended school graduating from Birdville High School in North Richland Hills, TX.
Frances lived in the Fort Worth area for many years until moving to Independence, KS, where she was employed at Automotive Control Corp. for 30 years.
On November 3, 2003 she married Henry O. Vail at Miami, OK. Following their marriage they made their home in rural South Coffeyville. OK.
Frances attended the Baptist Church, she was a lifetime member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary and enjoyed playing bingo.
Survivors include her husband, Henry of the home; one son, Tim Goodger and wife, Cathy of Lake Quivira, KS; one step-son, Glenn Vail of Wichita, KS; one step-daughter, Linda Musgrove of San Antonio, TX; one sister, Nelda Phillips of Tuscumbia, MO; three grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and six step-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and one niece.
Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 19, 2018 at Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Coffeyville with Pastor Mark Wilson of the First Church of God officiating.
Friends may call on Sunday, March 18, 2018 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville.
