Obituary of William Frank Hannah

William Frank "Bill" Hannah, Sr., 67, of Parsons, KS formerly of Coffeyville passed away Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at this home.

He was born on November 3, 1950 at Globe, AZ to Johnny Thomas and Darlene Belle (Stevens) Hannah. When he was young his family moved to Coffeyville where Bill grew up and attended Cedar Bluff School and Field Kindley High School.

He married Mary Ann Bell, they had two children, Billy and Amanda. They were later divorced.

Bill lived in Texas where he managed a gas station for a time, and later worked construction in Arkansas and the Coffeyville area. He moved to Parsons in the late 1990's and worked for a cabinet company.

On June 14, 2008 he married Brenda Barnes. Following their marriage they made their home in Parsons.

He attended the Nazarene Church in Parsons. Bill enjoyed fishing, going to car shows, and visiting with family and friends. But his greatest joy was spending time with his grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife, Brenda of the home, one son William F. "Billy" Hannah, Jr. and wife Bobbi of Coffeyville; one daughter, Amanda Hannah of Neodesha; one step-daughter, Kelli Ferguson of Huber Heights, OH; one step-son, Tyler Smith of Minster, OH; one brother, James Hannah of Coffeyville; two sisters, Lorraine Green and Beverly Blevins both of Coffeyville; and nine grandchildren.

Services will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 24, 2018 at Amazing Grace Chapel, 501 East 9th St. with Pastor Gary Stevens officiating. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery north of Coffeyville.

Friends may call on Friday, March 23rd from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville.
