Obituary of Lillie Moseley
Lillie P. Moseley, age 76, of Coffeyville, Kansas was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on March 18, 2018 at CRMC in Coffeyville.
Lillie was born on November 30, 1941 in Wagoner, Oklahoma to Ray and Helen (Jones) Stephens. She grew up in Parsons, Kansas where she graduated high school. She moved to Coffeyville in 1972.
She was united in marriage to William C. Moseley. The couple made their home in Coffeyville, Kansas. Her husband preceded her in death. Lillie worked for the Parsons Ammunition Plant, Acme Foundry and Charloma.
In her free time she enjoyed attending church at the First Church of God in Christ. She liked to crochet and make ceramics. Most of all she loved the time she spent surrounded by family and friends.
Surviving to cherish her memory are her; children, Gary Stephens of Coffeyville, Kansas, Tonya Stephens of Coffeyville, Kansas, Annette Porter and Brent Hardrick of Coffeyville, Kansas, Lisa Stephens of Fargo, North Dakota, and Faasimo Lunani; sixteen grandchildren, twenty six great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; brother Charles Stephens of Wewoka, Oklahoma, and brother-in-law Bennie Drayton; and a host of Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Helen Stephens, two brothers, Xenephon Stephens, and Robert Stephens; and two sisters, Katie Drayton and Hortense Anderson.
A Home Going Celebration will be held on Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the First Church of God in Christ in Coffeyville, Kansas. Pastor Melvin Simpson will officiate. Burial will follow. at the Oakwood Cemetery in Parsons, Kansas.
Friends may call on Monday, March 26, 2018 to sign the guest register from 12:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville.
