Obituary of Samuel A. Curran

Samuel A. Curran, 70, of Coffeyville passed away Saturday, July 7, 2018 at Medicalodge of Coffeyville. He was born on April 17, 1948 at Girard, KS, where he grew up and attended school in Girard graduating from Girard High School in 1965. After high school he attended Pittsburg State University in Pittsburg, KS until joining the U.S. Air Force serving eight years. While stationed at Goodfellow Air Force Base in San Angelo, TX he attended night school classes at Angelo State University receiving his degree in Business Administration. Sam was employed at Medicalodges for 36 years retiring in 2014. Survivors include his wife, Vicki Curran of the home; one son, Scott Curran of Coffeyville; five sisters, Ann (Larry) Pronier of Pittsburg, KS, Sharon (Don) Nelson of Topeka, KS, Pam (Ken) Bradshaw of Girard, KS, Susan Harris of Hepler, KS, and Patti (Brian) Boore of Pittsburg, KS; and five brothers, Willard (Linda) Curran of Girard, KS, David (Connie) Curran of Arkansas City, KS, Mark (Julie) Curran of Girard, KS, Joe (Kim) Curran of Farlington, KS, and Richard (Renae) Curran of Baxter Springs, KS. Follow Sam's wishes cremation has taken place and no service is scheduled at this time.
