Obituary of Charles Ray Smith

Charles Ray Smith passed away at the age of 64 on August 29th 2018 at Jane Phillips Hospital in Bartlesville OK. He was born November 8th 1953 in Coffeyville Kansas to Anzel Eugene Smith and Adeline Wilma (Comstock) Smith. Charley, as he was known by all his friends and family, attended school at Snow Creek elementary and graduate in 1972 from Lenapah High School. Charley worked all his life in the Coffeyville area and was employed for almost 20 years with FEDEX Freight out of Cherryvale. He was known and loved by all and enjoyed farming, spending time with his family and friends and hosting his annual Labor Day feast welcoming all who attended. Charley is survived by his wife of 40 years Sharon Smith, his mother Adaline, his brothers Larry and Jerald Dewayne (JD) as well as many brothers-in-laws, sisters-in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends. Charley has been cremated and private services for the family are pending at a later date.
