Obituary of Theodosia Bertha Park
Theodosia Bertha Park, 91, of Coffeyville passed away Friday, September 7, 2018 at Windsor Place in Coffeyville.
She was born on July 4, 1927 near Stigler, OK in Haskell County. When she was young her family moved to the Wann, OK and Coffeyville area where she grew up and attended school.
On September 23, 1945 she married Wayne H. Park. Following their marriage they made their home in Coffeyville where they raised their family. Her husband preceded her in death in 1970.
Theodosia was employed at Coffeyville Regional Medical Center as a CNA for 31 years.
She was a member of Central Church of the Nazarene, she enjoyed writing poetry, singing, decorating the Church Fellowship Hall for Baby and Wedding Showers, she absolutely loved going to rummage sales, but her greatest love was spending time with her children especially her grandchildren.
Survivors include one son, Larry Park and wife, Stephanie of Hemet, CA; three daughters, Sandra Vanderhoof and husband, Robert, Linda Bilby, and Brenda Kimmons all of Coffeyville; two sisters, Geneva Cashon of Dallas, TX, and Frances Meek and husband, Roy "KO" of Broken Arrow, OK; twelve grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and four sisters.
A Memorial Service celebrating Theodosia's life will be at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at the Central Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Mathew Miles officiating.
