Obituary of Isaiah Matthew Wade
Isaiah Matthew Wade, 34, of Tyro, won his battle with Leukemia on Monday, November 5, 2018 at the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, KS.
He was born on February 18, 1984 at Bartlesville, OK to Fred and Dana (Moyer) Wade. Isaiah grew up in Tyro, he attended Tyro Christian School thru 3rd grade then transferred to the Caney Valley School district in Caney, KS where he graduated.
Isaiah enjoyed helping as a volunteer at Tyro Christian School for many years where he worked with pre K-1st grade students. He also volunteered helping with the newsletter and teaching Jr Church at the Tyro Christian Church, where he was a longtime member. He enjoyed playing video games, board and card games and riding his bike. Isaiah loved tracking and following the weather and was skilled in working with technology, he loved spending time with his family and his dog Tibby.
Survivors include his mother, Dana Wade of Tyro; two brothers, Jake Wade and wife, Amanda of Caney, KS and Zack Wade and wife, Amber of Havana, KS; his nieces and nephews, Jenna Wade, Josh Wade, Lilee Wade, Allyson Wade, Luke Wade and Lauren Wade; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
Waiting to greet him in Heaven is his father, Fred Wade and many other loved ones.
Services will be at 1:00 p.m., Friday, November 9, 2018 at the Tyro Christian Church with Evangelist David Bycroft officiating. Burial will be in Fawn Creek Cemetery northeast of Tyro.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Tyro Christian Church in Tyro, please enter through the east side of the building.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials to an account being established at the Community National Bank for the Bone Marrow Transplant Units #41 and 42 at the University of Kansas Medical Center. Donations may be left with The Tyro Christian Church or the funeral home or mailed in care of David W. Barnes Funeral Home, 306 North Cline Road, Coffeyville, KS 67337.
