I am so sorry for your loss. Mom and Carolyn were best friends even after mom got dementia Johnny would bring Carolyn to the nursing home to pick up mom. He then took them both to Collett's house so they could visit. all of them with dementia. I can just picture Carolyn and mom in heaven laughing about it now. What good friends they were. I have been thinking about her a lot after she moved into the nursing home. I also knew that I had better not go visit. If you knew Carolyn you knew she always looked her best. She was beautiful. I was not going to see her any other way. Carolyn was always there for my family. I loved her. I am sad but I know she is happy. I pray for comfort for the family. Love to you all Becky Neal Gordon

Carolyn was a beautiful lady in every way and her testimony for the Lord is a wonderful witness and challenge to all of us. For a Christian, to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord and those who also know the Lord as their Savior know they'll see Carolyn again. Condolences to Ray and all the family.

Carolyn was a friend from first grade to fourth grade and anytime I saw her. There were many, many years between visits with her but it seemed we hardly skipped a beat when we did meet. I will always remember my beloved friend Carolyn.
I am sorry for your loss and hope you cherish her memories of her.

I grew up with Carolyn as my neighbor and friend. I remember her parents, her sister and brothers as well. She remained a friend and always stayed in touch with our family (the Scotts and the Smiths). She was truly a kind and wonderful person and I am sad to know that I won't have a chance to see her again.

Carolyn has always been of my favorite people . As a little girl I always wanted to look like her and sing like her . Her beautiful smile, sparkling eyes and classy style . As my friend Terrys mom she feed me lots after church dinner and sleep overs . Watching her and Ray roller skate was like watching the Olympics to a little girl . As a teenager she showed me God’s love over and over again . Watching her care for her mom and Aunt Minnie showed me how to be kind to those that don’t move very quickly as the age . Carolyn and her family will forever have a place in my heart and memories of my childhood. I know that Carolyn , my mom and my dad are singing in Gods Choir in their Golden Robes right now .
Love to all of you
I know what she meant to all of you

Grandma there are not enough words in the English language to help me describe how much you mean to me, I love you and the impact you had on my life. I would not be the man I am today without you in my life. You are one of the most amazing people to have ever walked this earth and heaven is lucky to have you as one of its Angels. I know from this day forward you will be watching over me from heaven just like you watched over me all those times as a kid. I love you grandma with my whole heart. You are a very special person and someday we will see each other again and that day will be a tremendous day as I will forever have a void in my life with you gone. Love Booner Scooner.
