Obituary of Mary Ann Fesler

Mary Ann Fesler, 69, of South Coffeyville, OK passed away Thursday, November 29, 2018 at her home. She was born on August 29, 1949 at Cedar Vale, KS to George Edward and Viola Elizabeth (Mitchell) Fesler. Mary grew up and attended school in the Hewins, KS area and graduated from Cedar Vale High School. She worked at Windsor Place for several years until going to work for the City of Coffeyville as custodian at City Hall until retiring. Mary was a member of the United Methodist Church. She enjoyed bird watching and spending time in nature. Survivors include one sister, Violet Bahr of Foxfire Village, NC; four brothers, Renny Peterson of Ramona, CA, Adrian Peterson of Inner Groves Heights, MN, Jim Fesler of Coffeyville and Jack Fesler of Neosho, MO. Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m., Monday, December 3, 2018 in the Robbins Cemetery west of Coffeyville. Friends may call on Monday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to Cornerstone Hospice; contributions may be left with the funeral home or mailed in care of David W.
