Obituary of Ruby Jolene Browning

Ruby Jo Browning Sept. 9th, 1937 Jan. 18th, 2019 Ruby Jo Browning was born the thirteenth child of Robert Lee Brooks and Mabel Roberts Brooks, in Nowata County Ok, September 9th, 1937. Ruby Jo, known by most as "Jo", is survived by her husband Stanley, son Scott and his wife Tia, two grandchildren Hunter and LaurenSage, sister Ida Lee Rosson, many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and cousins. She graduated from Wann high school in 1955. Jo married her husband of nearly 60 years, Stan Browning, of Caney Ks, on May 30th 1958. Jo and Stan moved to Kansas City, Ks area to be near family where they resided for the past several years. Jo was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, she will be dearly missed. Friends may sign the register book on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville. A Memorial Service celebrating Jo's life will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at the First Baptist Church in Coffeyville.
