Travis was an important faculty member at Oregon Trail for the many years he taught Spanish there. He additionally contributed to the community by guiding the Spanish Club to sponsor a food drive for several local families every Christmas season. He generated enthusiasm in his students to master the Spanish language. Since I also had roots in Coffeyville, we occasionally shared memories from our childhoods. So sorry that Travis' family has lost him too soon.
