Obituary of Jason Paul Casurole

Jason Paul "Jake" Casurole, was born on Kansas Day January 29, 1972 to Roger E. Caurole and Becky Hurst Gordon in Coffeyville, KS. Jason passed away in his home surrounded by his loving family on Mother's Day Sunday, May 12, 2019. When he was young the family lived Republic, Pennsylvania for several years until returning to Coffeyville. Jason had an amazing 47 years traveling the USA and Canada by van, train and plane. He vacationed summers in Pennsylvania with his Dad's family. Jake attended many sporting events watching his brother, Preston and his nieces. He attended many concerts from Rap to New Kids on the Block. His comfort zone was his awesome bedroom. H spent every other weekend with his Dad in his second awesome bedroom. Jason attended Verdigris Valley Pre-school, graduated from Tri County with a Field Kindley High School Diploma; he also attended Class LTD for twenty years. He had so many caring workers throughout these years. Jake is survived by his parents, Roger and Becky; brother, Preston Casurole; sister Claire Casurole Weaver; nieces Shea Casurole (Camron) and Rain Casurole; nephews, Macsen and Griffin and great-niece, Saige Rock; and many loving cousins and friends. Jason was loved by anyone who ever met him. Thank you to all the doctors, nurses, and staff through his years. Thank you to Harry Hynes Memorial Hospices and their caring staff these last few weeks. A Private Family Service celebrating Jakes life will on Friday, May 17, 2019, with Sister Janelle Brittain presiding. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville. The family suggests memorials in Jason's memory to a scholarship fund being established at Coffeyville Community College; contributions may be left with or mailed in care of David W. Barnes Funeral Home, 306 North Cline Road, Coffeyville, KS 67337.
