Obituary of Bonnie June Glover

Bonnie June (Swigart) Glover went to her heavenly home May 20, 2019 at age 87.  She was born to Wm. Cecil and Gladys Irene (Warner) Swigart on Nov. 27, 1931 in Omaha, Nebraska.  Her early days were spent on a farm in Bedford, Iowa, attending a rural school.  After graduating high school at Bedford High, she married her classmate Frederick Orville Glover.  After two years of marriage, Uncle Sam called and Fred spent four years in the Air Force.  Following this four years, they owned their own business in trucking and service stations.  Bonnie spent most of her working years meeting the public in various businesses.

After eight years of marriage, God saw fit to send them a beautiful baby girl and soon to follow, two wonderful young men - Susan Lynn (Tim) Thompson, James Edward (Kathy) and Frederick Allen (Jackie) Glover.  These three children blessed Mom and Dad with fourteen grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren.  Each one always brought a smile and open arms to Grandma.  Her biggest wish is to have each one of these dear ones welcomed into her heavenly home.  In Bonnie's older years she was privileged to live close to her siblings; sister Sue (Eldon) Jackson, Gary (Clara) and Keith (Joyce) Swigart.  This was a special time, and was shared with wonderful nieces and nephews.

Those who have preceded her are husband, Fred, her parents, her daughter, Susan, grandson, Nick Glover, and brother, Gary.  Bonnie loved being with family and friends.  She will be missed.

A Celebration of Bonnie’s life will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 1, 2019 at Grace Fellowship with Pastor Doug Mund officiating. Inurnment will be in Robbins Cemetery west of Coffeyville.
