Obituary of Caleb Michael O'Donnell

Caleb Michael “Boo” O’Donnell, 32, of Coffeyville passed away Friday, August 16, 2019 following an accident in the Verdigris River near Coffeyville.

He was born on January 27, 1987 at Livingston, Alabama to Terrence “Terry” and Billie (Upshaw) O’Donnell. When he was 3 years old his family moved to the Coffeyville, Kansas and South Coffeyville, Oklahoma area. Caleb grew up in Coffeyville but he attended school in South Coffeyville graduating from South Coffeyville High School.

Caleb attended Crystal Brook Church in Independence. He enjoyed rap music and fishing, but his greatest joy was spending time with his children.

Survivors include his four children, Jonathan O’Donnell, Aiden O’Donnell, and Allison O’Donnell all of Coffeyville, and Alana Schumann of Bartlesville, Oklahoma; his mother, Billie O’Donnell of Coffeyville; and four sisters, Michele Gibson of Perry, Oklahoma, Tara Victory of Coffeyville, Danielle O’Donnell of Coffeyville, and Leah O’Donnell of Coffeyville.

He was preceded in death by his father, Terrence “Terry” O’Donnell; and two brothers, Gary Lee O’Donnell and John Paul O’Donnell.

Services will be at 2:00 p.m., Friday, August 23, 2019 at the First Assembly of God in Coffeyville with Pastor Judy Mustain of Life Point Church officiating. Burial will follow at the Veterans Patio in Fairview Cemetery in Coffeyville. There will be a dinner for friends and family following the service at the American Legion in Coffeyville, Kansas hosted by the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary.

Friends may call on Thursday from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville.
