Obituary of Tim Traxson

Timothy LeRoy Traxson, age 53 passed from this life on December 16, 2019 at CRMC in Coffeyville, Kansas from natural causes. Tim was born on October 15, 1966 in Coffeyville, Kansas to Eldred Traxson and Vanda (Burrowes) Dennis. He graduated from Newberg High School in 1985. Tim married Michelle (Triebel) Traxson in 1994, though the couple later divorced, they remained friends. Tim and Michelle had two wonderful children. They had a son Tyler James and a daughter Kirsten Nicole. Surviving to honor his memory are his son Tyler Traxson of Edna Kansas and his daughter Kirsten Traxson of Edna KS; his mother Vanda Dennis and husband John of Lake Placid FL; his father Eldred Traxson of Bartlesville OK; brothers Bear Johnson of Burkesville, Dennis Johnson of Wauchula FL and Jonathan Dennis of Lake Placid FL; sisters Tanya Carter of Dayton, TN and Dominique Dennis of Enterprise AL; and step-sisters Crystal Dewey of Independence KS and Lana Petrie of Lemoore CA. He was preceded in death by his brother Todd Traxson, and his step-mother Marva Traxson. Cremation has taken place under the direction of David W. Barnes Funeral Home. A memorial service will take place at a later time. The family suggests memorials to the Dream Chasers Community Lunch at the Assembly of God Church; contributions can be left with the funeral home or mailed in care of David W.
