Obituary of Terry Michael Johnston

Terry Michael Johnston, 61, of Coffeyville, Kansas passed away on Thursday, December 26, 2019 at Medicalodge in Coffeyville. Terry was born on April 1, 1958 in Clovis, New Mexico to Wesley and Gloria (Porter) Johnston. He grew up in Jay, Oklahoma where he graduated high school. On June 7, 1980 he married the love of his life, Bella Rotramel in Eucha, Oklahoma. They made their home in Coffeyville, Kansas. Terry worked for Watco as the maintenance supervisor. He enjoyed traveling, white water rafting, zip lining, parasailing, riding his Harley, collecting coins, working on old cars and had most recently began restoring a 1956 Chevy when he became ill. Surviving to cherish his memory is his wife, Bella of the home; daughter, Andrea Rountree and husband, Joshua of Wellington, Kansas; sons, Benjamin Johnston of Coffeyville, Kansas, Dylan Johnston of Jay, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Tatum, Ryleigh and Charli Rountree, Kinzie and Kylie Johnston; brother, Donald Johnston of Eucha, Oklahoma; father-in-law, Ronald Rotramel of Jay, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wesley and Gloria Johnston and by his mother-in-law, Jean Rotramel. Cremation has taken place under the direction of David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville. Memorial Services will be held on Thursday, January 2, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at the First Church of God. Pastor Mark Wilson will officiate.
