Obituary of Diedre L. Michel

Diedre L. Michel, 57, formerly of Coffeyville passed away January 27, 2020, at Via Christi Village in Wichita, Kansas. She was born in Coffeyville on November 17, 1962 to Charles E. and Ella Monalou (Evans) Michel. Diedre grew up in Coffeyville and attended Garfield Elementary School, Roosevelt Middle School and completed her education graduating from Field Kindley Memorial High School. In 1984 Diedre moved to Wichita. She enjoyed doing crafts, loved to dance, eat pizza, and spend time with her family especially her nieces and nephews. Survivors include one brother, Michael E. Michel and wife Janet of Topeka, Kansas; two sisters, Julia M. Wiles of Coffeyville, and Linette M. Tipton and husband, Tom of Coffeyville; nieces and nephews, Erin (Jeff) Fischer of Plano, Texas, Adam (Kathy) Michel of Denver, Colorado, Cooper Michel of Basalt, Colorado, Libby (Drew) Ridley of McKinney, Texas, Eric (Kari) Wiles of Independence, Kansas, Sarah (Matt) Zschoche of Kansas City, Kansas, Greg (Brianna) Wiles of The Colony, Texas, Katie (Nate) Martin of Swan Point, Maryland, and Ben (Kara) Tipton of Mulvane, Kansas; and great-nieces and great-nephews, Mike Fisher, Plano, TX, Anna Michel, Denver, CO, Catherine Ridley, McKinney, TX, Creighton, Reagan, Charlea and Quincee Wiles, Independence, KS, Ella Grace and Reed Zschoche, Kansas City, KS, Oliver Wiles, The Colony, TX, August and Max Martin, Swan Point, MD, and Colten Tipton, Mulvane, KS She was preceded in death by her parents, and one sister, Nikki Lynne Michel. A private family inurnment will take place at a later date next to her parents in Restlawn Memorial Park in Coffeyville.
