Obituary of Sharron Elaine Wall

Please share a memory of Sharron to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Sharron Elaine Wall passed away June 10, 2020 at the young age of 74. She was a great woman, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Born on January 20, 1946 in Coffeyville, KS, the daughter of the late coal miner, Issac Harrison Dilldine, and the late home-maker, Violet Alene (Likes) Dilldine, she leaves behind a very dysfunctional family that she was exceedingly proud of. Sharron was known for her no nonsense attitude, not holding back her opinion, and a knack for telling it like it is. She always told you the truth even if it wasn't what you wanted to hear. With that being said she was genuine, never let you leave without a hug and kiss and an "I love you," and she had the heart of a lion - yet she sugar coated nothing. She was a Christain although not a regular church-goer. She retired from Caney Elementary School after 30 years of service as a custodial worker. She was an avid reader (when her eyes were still "good") and a bit of a history buff. She liked to talk politics (hated Trump with a passion), watch OU football, and there wasn't a western she hadn't seen. She was open-minded and strong-willed. She didn't have an easy life, but she wasn't one to complain. She embodied perseverance. She struggled with health issues for many years, and we wish her peace now. All of us who loved her will never forget her wit, tenacity, grace, and undying love. Everyone always knew where you stood with her. She either liked you or she didn't; it was black and white. But if she did like you she never let you forget it. She loved fiercely, and she had a sharp mind and an even sharper memory. She was both wise and forward-thinking. She will be sorely missed and is survived by her son, Jaime Wall, and wife, Barbara, of Barnsdall, OK, daughter, Julie Wall, of Caney, KS, and daughter, Justina Aldridge, and husband, Johnny, of Dewey, OK; grandchildren: Shane Wall and wife, Angie, of Grove, OK, Leslie Wall of Caney, KS, Waylon Wall of Barnsdall, OK, Raven Sprueill and husband, Danney, of Oak Harbor, WA, Lace Cook and husband, Kevin, of Dewey, OK, Sierra Hinkle and husband, Colby, of Broken Arrow, OK, Cheyenne Aldridge of Dewey, OK, and Jules Wall of Barnsdall, OK. She also leaves behind 10 great-grandchildren, one brother, Gerald Wayne Dilldine, of Copan, OK, and one sister, Carol Sue Johnson, of Mound Valley, KS. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers: Clifford Dilldine, Lefty Dilldine, and Ed Dilldine and four sisters: Ruth Maxine Thompson, Mary Lois Cantrell, Mildred Duke, and Patsy Robertson. She will live on as we live because her love is imprinted on who we are, but we will miss her every day. Services will be held on Saturday, June 20th at 10:30 am at Caney City Park Pavillion, 301-399 East 5th Ave., Caney, KS.
