Helen G. Graybill, 99, of Coffeyville and former longtime Edna area resident passed away Thursday, September 3, 2020 at Coffeyville Regional Medical Center. She was born on May 8, 1921 at Bessie, Oklahoma to Alonzo Buster and Ollie Peck. Helen grew up attended school in Oklahoma. On January 22, 1938 she married Clarence D. Graybill in Cheyenne, Oklahoma. Following their marriage they made their home in Custer County, Oklahoma where they farmed until moving to their farm northeast of Edna, Kansas in 1962. Her husband preceded her in death on October 8, 2010. Survivors include one son, Johnnie Graybill and wife, Linda of Coffeyville; one daughter-in-law, Sue Graybill of Hendersonville, Tennessee; one brother, Jim Peck of Edmond, Oklahoma; five grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, thirteen great-great-grandchildren, and one great-great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parent, her husband, and one son, Freddie Graybill. Graveside services will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 5, 2020 at the Richland Cemetery north of Angola, Kansas with Chaplain Keith Springer of Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice officiating. The family will greet friends on Friday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville.
