Cheryl Lee Wright, 74, of Coffeyville passed away Friday, September 11, 2020 at Jane Phillips Medical Center in Bartlesville, Oklahoma.
She was born on July 21, 1946 at Parsons, Kansas to Donald Henry and Velma Juanita (Price) Evans. Cheryl grew up on the family farm near Bartlett, Kansas; she attended grade school in the Bartlett area and graduated in 1964 from Labette County High School in Altamont, Kansas. After graduating from high school she moved to Coffeyville and attended Coffeyville Community College.
Cheryl worked as an administrative assistant. She enjoyed collecting frogs and being outdoors, but most of all loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.
Survivors include her sons, David Wright and wife, Lisa of Coffeyville; William Leon Wright of Coffeyville and Michael "Mick" Wright of Coffeyville; and three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Donna Evans and one brother, Leroy Evans.
Following Cheryl's wishes cremation has taken place and the family will have a private service celebrating her life at a later date.
The family suggests memorials to the Coffeyville Regional Medical Center Foundation; contributions may be left with or mailed in care of David W. Barnes Funeral Home, 306 North Cline Road, Coffeyville, KS 67337.
