Obituary of Marcia Adair

Marcia Lynn Adair, age 53, of Coffeyville, Kansas passed away on October 20, 2020 at her home. Marcia was born May 8, 1967 to Nathaniel and Carrie (Harris) Colbert. She grew up in Coffeyville where she attended local schools and graduated from Field Kindley High School. Marcia loved children and spent her life as a babysitter and child care provider. She also enjoyed fishing, camping, bowling and cooking. Surviving to cherish her memory are her children, Carissa Lynn Castorena and Nathaniel Edward Colbert II, both of Coffeyville; grandchildren, Carrie, Haylie and Serenidee Kendall; sister, Demetra Ann Hayes; adopted brother, Marcus Downing both of Coffeyville. She was preceded in death by her parents, Nathaniel and Carrie Colbert; her still born son, Nathaniel Lamar Colbert and adopted brother, Tommy Downing. A final viewing for the family will take place on Tuesday, November 3, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at David W Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville. Following Marcia’s wishes, cremation will take place. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
