Roberta Grace Dixon, age 76, of Coffeyville, Kansas passed away on Thursday, October 29, 2020 at Jane Phillips Medical Center in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. Roberta was born on April 3, 1944 in Cleveland, Oklahoma to William and Cora Parkhurst. She grew up in Neodesha, Kansas where she attended school. She furthered her education at Coffeyville Community College. On March 13, 1961 she married Jim Dixon in Fredonia, Kansas. The couple made their home in Coffeyville, Kansas. Roberta was employed at Safeway and at CCC as a computer lab assistant. She was a member of the Catholic Church and later attended Grace Fellowship Church. Roberta enjoyed sewing, quilting, cooking, painting, floral design and the time she spent surrounded by her family and friends. Surviving to honor her memory are her loving husband, Jim Dixon of the home; children, Deanna Rahmati and husband, Seif of Houston, Texas, Carolyn Lay of Coffeyville, Kansas, Angela Bailey and husband, Chris of Katy, Texas, Jennifer DeRosa and husband, Mike of Coffeyville, Kansas, Curtis Dixon and fiancée, Amanda Curry of Ozark, Missouri; fifteen grandchildren; two great grandchildren; brother, Chester Parkhurst of San Diego, California and sister, Henrietta Kirkpatrick of Bartlesville, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Cora Parkhurst and sisters, Nancy, Maggie and Ruthie. A private family memorial service will held in her honor. Memorials can be made to the American Kidney Fund; these may be left with the funeral home or mailed in care of David W Barnes Funeral Home 306 N Cline Rd Coffeyville, KS 67337.
